From within the Kootenay mountains emerges the global sound of Midori – a genre-defying infusion of past and future for the hearts and dance-floors of the present.

Midori is the creation of veteran dance floor practitioner Mary Ann Spears. For over 20 years, Mary Ann has rocked festivals, night clubs and ecstatic dances under her solo DJ work as Ginger and as part of the all-women DJ collective, Meow Mix. She has worked the dance floor every year at the world-renowned Shambhala Music Festival since its inception in 2000 and has played the Kaslo Jazz Etc. Festival, Kamp Festival, Made in the Shade, and more.
